FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

+ If local MCP is free, why join early access?
Convenience + freshness. Local MCP via npx is full-power and always free. Early access helps us prioritize the hosted endpoint, fresher graph updates, team workflows, and private org knowledge based on real use cases.
+ Why early access instead of public pricing?
Honest answer: we want the product to earn trust before it asks for money. The waitlist gives us real demand signal, helps choose what to build next, and lets interested users try the right preview when it is ready.
+ What's an MCP server?
Model Context Protocol -- the open standard for giving structured data to AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.). Causari exposes 5 MCP tools: query_events, causal_chain, historical_resonance, predict_scenarios, and org_knowledge. Your agent calls them like function calls and gets structured JSON back, not prose from memory.
+ What is org_knowledge? (Enterprise only)
It's a private CKG running alongside the world graph. You feed it your ADRs, incidents, decisions, or internal wiki, and your agents can query internal cause-and-effect alongside world causal history.
+ Are Causari and Powflow the same thing?
Causari is the company + infrastructure: the CKG dataset, MCP server, and hosted platform. Powflow is the visual canvas product on top of it. Same team, two surfaces, same graph.
+ Can I self-host?
The MCP server is open source: clone it, npm install, done. Later enterprise deployments may support private org CKGs on Cloudflare Workers, Docker, or Kubernetes.
+ When will pricing be public?
After enough early users confirm the hosted workflow is clearly useful. Until then, local MCP stays free and open source, and early access does not require payment.
+ Is my personal event data private?
Personal scope is only you. Org scope is only your team. World scope is public curated CKG data. We never share personal scope data.
